MBA Graduate Admission Test (GAT)

Makerere University, College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS) invites allshort listed candidates who applied for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme (offered at Makerere Main Campus) for Academic Year 2017/18 for a Graduate Admission Test (GAT).

The test is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 8th July 2017, 9.00a.m. at the College of Business and Management Sciences (formerly Faculty of Economics and Management).

Mak and ACCA enhance partnership to provide professional courses

On Monday 29th February 2016, Makerere University together with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Uganda signed an auxiliary Memorandum of Understanding to provide professional courses and standards to Makerere University students studying Bachelor of Commerce at a subsidized fee.

The auxiliary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will equally support the students to enhance their professional development and careers in accounting, business and finance.

Orientation of New Students

First Year students (Freshers) are by tradition given an "Acclimation" period of normally one week which is refered to as the "Orientation Week". The freshers report on Campus one week earlier than the continuing students and during this week they are introduced to the key facilities in the university as well as other important aspects of the life at university.
